Tagua Carvings
Tagua Nut (or Vegetable Ivory) is a hard, eco-friendly material, that varies from white to ivory/cream, and is great to work with. Due to the natural splits down the centre of the nut, cutting slices gives some surprises, as the central slices will lose a chunk. But these surprises lead to creative inspiration (as with The Dancer). I use a high-speed drill and dental bits to carve these pendants.
